Stays in nature

The Rewilding landscape of Coombeshead overlooking Bodmin moor is an impressive and tranquil location. We have 5 shepherds huts located on a west facing slope of the land in native woodland which enable you to appreciate the setting in comfort. Each has its own cooking facilities with a BBQ ability in a communal barn on the crest of the hill. Excellent views of the free grazing buffalo and ponies can be obtained from platforms above their main watering holes. Wild cats and their kittens can be spotted playing in our purpose built breeding facilities for this species English reintroduction. Wild mammals such as red deer and roe, badgers, foxes and a broad range of birds can also be encountered from this base. Beaver watches in the valley below where several colonies of this rodent have established a series of wetlands are also possible by arrangement from our viewing hides in the early summer evenings.

We also have full camping facilities in our wildflower meadow next to our main woodlands farm.
